GENERATIONS



Abstract

A short 2.5D sidescroller with a looping puzzle element.

Beating the level in a straightforward manner won't allow the next generation of player characters to navigate it to the end.

Thus the player is tasked to clear obstacles with lasting impact, else they will have to jump back in time to fix their predecessor's mistake.

The theme of this game jam was 'Change', which is why GENERATIONS' core message is about environmentalism and providence. While we deemed it important to address these issues in a comprehensible manner, the subject matter might be too evident at times.
